How to Feed Clean & Stack Heavy in Recirculating Systems
If you're running a drip system, ebb & flow, or recirculating hydro setup, you're already chasing maximum efficiency — but not every nutrient line plays nice in these systems.
The good news?
✅ PCFSA works beautifully in drip and hydro — with a few smart tips.
Here’s how to dial it in and avoid clogging, anaerobic messes, or wasted nutrients.
🌸 Flower Stack™ in Drip & Hydro Systems
PCFSA Flower Stack™ is ultra-concentrated and mixes clean — no salts, dyes, or gunky binders. But because it’s all-natural and bioavailable, it should always be:
✅ Mixed fresh
Never mix and store Flower Stack™ for more than 12–24 hours. The ingredients will separate and may go stale in stagnant water.
✅ Used with aeration & circulation
If you’re feeding from a reservoir, use an air stone and a circulation pump to keep the solution active. This prevents:
-
Settling at the bottom
-
Microbial funk
-
Uneven feed strength
✅ Filtered at the drip line
Use an in-line mesh filter or screen before your emitters to prevent fine organic particles from clogging.
📅 Feeding Frequency
-
1 vial per gallon every 5–7 days
-
For automated systems, mix fresh solution in a secondary tank and use for a single feeding cycle (don’t store!)
💧 Worm Tea Concentrate in Recirculating Systems
PCFSA Worm Tea is shelf-stable before it’s mixed — but once diluted with water, it’s a living solution.
✅ Always aerate your tea tank
Treat Worm Tea like a compost tea. Once mixed, it must be aerated and used within 24 hours. This keeps microbes alive and avoids anaerobic rot.
✅ Avoid overuse
Drip systems don’t need as much Worm Tea per gallon. Use 2 oz per gallon weekly to maintain microbial life in coco/hydroton systems.
🚫 Don’t let Worm Tea stagnate
Microbes will go anaerobic and crash your root zone if tea is left sitting without oxygen. Use up all mixed solution within 12–24 hours max.
🪱 Super Worm Castings in Hydro?
Nope — not recommended.
While Super Worm Castings are fantastic in soil and soilless mediums, they aren’t ideal for hydro setups due to:
-
Potential for pump clogging
-
Organic sediment buildup
-
Risk of microbial imbalance in water-based systems
Save castings for your clones, soil pre-mix, or side-by-side soil comparisons.
🧠 Pro Tips for System Use
✅ Always clean reservoirs between uses (especially after Flower Stack™ or Worm Tea)
✅ Use food-safe tubing and mesh filters to catch fine particles
✅ Try a side test before switching your full system
✅ Watch EC levels — PCFSA runs clean and won't spike salt readings
